In the 4th minute, Hunting High & Low..'s Ralph Carey-Bertram seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ralph Carey-Bertram the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hunting High & Low.. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ralph Carey-Bertram had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hunting High & Low.. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Archie Rowell had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Michael Lester's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Rupert Bear managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LIVERPOOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Bear was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Clapham in the 10th minute of play forced FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Frank Pearce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Pearce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Clapham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Rupert Bear shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Rowell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hunting High & Low..'s goalkeeper Archie Rowell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Pearce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Clapham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match Hunting High & Low.. got a corner. FC LIVERPOOL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damon Hird ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lance Gilchrist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Frank Pearce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Michael Lester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hunting High & Low..'s Archie Rowell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Clapham in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to FC LIVERPOOL getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Controller Junel hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Roger Clapham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Pearce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Frank Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Clapham, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Hunting High & Low.. got a freekick which was hit by Nick Oldham. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gazanfer Canıtez in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Archie Rowell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Didi Tondu. In the 48th minute Lance Gilchrist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC LIVERPOOL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hunting High & Low.. were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Clapham to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hunting High & Low..'s Lance Gilchrist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 58 minutes into the game, Roger Clapham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Frank Pearce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Didi Tondu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Archie Rowell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Gilchrist in the 63rd minute of play forced FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Frank Pearce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes FC LIVERPOOL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damon Hird who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, FC LIVERPOOL's Frank Pearce got control of the ball when Lance Gilchrist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Clapham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Frank Pearce made a huge save. Archie Rowell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Lyons in the 70th minute of the match.
