Orestis Daras made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ntinos Kaliakatsos however managed to control. Ntinos Kaliakatsos scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alketas Bourouselos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute of the match Jose F.C. got a corner. Panionios MK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ntinos Kaliakatsos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Allan Corrigan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Aris Zanteroglou made a huge save.
