In the 12th minute, Evelio Gregory left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ERGOTELIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, MICE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Gregory came free, but Paris Karamolegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Sakis Sanidomenos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 任树振 scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paris Karamolegos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manos Tsakalidis got free with Stamatis Ifantis in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paris Karamolegos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Sanidomenos in the 30th minute of the match. Stamatis Ifantis was a little too slow when Themis Pepper got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-2. Paris Karamolegos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Evelio Gregory had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paris Karamolegos. MICE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Gregory was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 41st minute, Nikitas Staboulidis made a precise shot to the right of Stamatis Ifantis. ERGOTELIS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The supporters of ERGOTELIS booed when MICE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Tsakalidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 minutes of play, ERGOTELIS's Evelio Gregory made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paris Karamolegos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikitas Staboulidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 63 minutes, Giannis Petridis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MICE F.C. and the ERGOTELIS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
