Wladyslaw Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Peredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PAOK FC's Wladyslaw Brudzisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match GREEN LIONS got a corner. PAOK FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacio Fonda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PAOK FC's goalie and right to Lambis Talitsikas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PAOK FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wladyslaw Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Peredo in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes GREEN LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Peredo. Wladyslaw Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merexildo Raimundo in the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Merexildo Raimundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by PAOK FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignacio Fonda was slow to take the kick. During this time GREEN LIONS's players had a chance to rest. The corner led GREEN LIONS's Patryk Jazowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Wladyslaw Brudzisz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Merexildo Raimundo came free, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theofilos Vrochopoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alekos Papaggelis came out and tried to block the shot, but Theofilos Vrochopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Lambis Talitsikas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wladyslaw Brudzisz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ermis Zacharatos made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Merexildo Raimundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAOK FC's Wladyslaw Brudzisz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 52 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikitas Galanos came free, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wladyslaw Brudzisz was a little too slow when Merexildo Raimundo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-3. PAOK FC's Wladyslaw Brudzisz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save PAOK FC from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes PAOK FC got a freekick which was hit by Theofilos Vrochopoulos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merexildo Raimundo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wladyslaw Brudzisz saved PAOK FC from getting behind. Kostas Lemonis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Merexildo Raimundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 76th minute of play forced PAOK FC's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lambis Talitsikas could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Wladyslaw Brudzisz however easily saved by the left post. 1-4 became the score in the 81st minute when Merexildo Raimundo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Merexildo Raimundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Wladyslaw Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merexildo Raimundo in the 86th minute of play. Merexildo Raimundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Brudzisz having to interfere. When GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAOK FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, PAOK FC's Wladyslaw Brudzisz got control of the ball when Lambis Talitsikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GREEN LIONS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
