After a defensive mix-up in De Gulden Draak's zone, Edinson Cavani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siim Kikas came out of the goal and Edinson Cavani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudius Marsching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Billing having to interfere. Erlin Haaland hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Belzner in the 39th minute of play. Manuel Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, De Gulden Draak's Dieter Strelow got a free kick in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erlin Haaland made a kick off. Siim Kikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlin Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siim Kikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Belzner in the 54th minute of play. Boris Rülke hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes De Gulden Draak's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edinson Cavani who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Edinson Cavani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Siim Kikas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlin Haaland in the 86th minute of play forced De Gulden Draak's goalkeeper Siim Kikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Peres got free with Anthon Billing in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Peres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Anthon Billing when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Anthon Billing made a huge save.
