David Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kai Förster came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bastian Abel could save by the left post. Lukas Goretzka shot from long distance in the 7th minute, but Bastian Abel was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When PoWer SC 2K5's Zvonimir Prestin in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Eisenberg's goalie prevented a goal. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedrich Reubold in the 15th minute of play. Jan Kimmich hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Mirko Saßmannshausen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Rotariu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedrich Reubold, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. David Rotariu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Eisenberg's Mirko Saßmannshausen. But to his dismay, Mirko Saßmannshausen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel got control of the ball when Kai Förster tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Eisenberg from getting a goal against them. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Matthew Wagner hit a great ball. Bastian Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Förster in the 37th minute of the match. Leon Matthäus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bastian Abel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Eisenberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kai Förster was slow to take the kick. During this time PoWer SC 2K5's players had a chance to rest. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfgang Schui, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Eisenberg's Lukas Mai got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zvonimir Prestin to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Matthäus came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Eisenberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kai Förster was slow to take the kick. During this time PoWer SC 2K5's players had a chance to rest. The corner led PoWer SC 2K5's Kai Förster to fire away a dangerous shot which Bastian Abel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kai Förster during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kai Förster hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Mirko Saßmannshausen came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bastian Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Förster in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute, Zvonimir Prestin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Abel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. David Rotariu came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Eisenberg's Friedrich Reubold. But to his dismay, Friedrich Reubold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. FC Eisenberg's Jupp Knapp was substituted for Jasper Faller. Bastian Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonimir Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kai Förster hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Mirko Saßmannshausen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theodor Kownatzki charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theodor Kownatzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when FC Eisenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodor Kownatzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Eisenberg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
