Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Luis Sarai made the kick off and thus started the match. Wilhelm Nienhaus scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andy Kau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilhelm Nienhaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Kau having to make a save. Andy Kau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 11th minute of the match. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Andy Kau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 20th minute of play. Andy Kau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 24th minute of the match. 方昂雄 charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 方昂雄 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when TSV 1860 Berg am Laim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. 方昂雄 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Luis Sarai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rune Jarstein. Luis Sarai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Murat Kalweit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Andy Kau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo da Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus to fire away a dangerous shot which Andy Kau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Kau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Kristian Oswald notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Andy Kau. Andy Kau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Nienhaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TSV 1860 Berg am Laim! Hertha 1969's Emilio Melzer was substituted for Jörg Hannemann. Wilhelm Nienhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Kau having to interfere. Andy Kau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Wilhelm Nienhaus succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 75th playminute. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Andy Kau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save TSV 1860 Berg am Laim from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Andy Kau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Nienhaus got free with Andy Kau in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilhelm Nienhaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Andy Kau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's zone, Rupert Heidingsfelder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Kau came out of the goal and Rupert Heidingsfelder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Hertha 1969 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hertha 1969 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
