The throw-in from Eugen Enciulescu in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Acatar's Sandu Ţipirig. Alin Chiru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Chiru in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, S.S. United Buzau's Nicodim Finteșteanu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Giovanni Pena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Chiru in the 11th minute. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz İlkay in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute S.S. United Buzau were awarded a corner. Leo Schuhmacher went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Leo Schuhmacher got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ekhemos Kezdoglou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Albert Grămescu hit a great ball. Ekhemos Kezdoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz İlkay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alin Chirus short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Giovanni Pena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rd minute FC Acatar were awarded a corner. Gigel Durbac went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Alin Chiru put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Giovanni Pena. Giovanni Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Grămescu in the 39th minute of play. Giovanni Pena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Chiru's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Alin Chiru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giovanni Pena came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Acatar's Constantin Bâlea. But to his dismay, Constantin Bâlea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Schuhmacher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz İlkay came free, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Alin Chiru in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Giovanni Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Chiru, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The attack was good, but when Alin Chiru in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience was convinced that Alin Chiru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovanni Pena was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's Alin Chiru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Pena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Aziz İlkay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to S.S. United Buzau getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Stelian Mitruț hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Nicu Vornicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Giovanni Pena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.S. United Buzau's goalkeeper Giovanni Pena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Schuhmacher got free with Ekhemos Kezdoglou in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alin Chiru took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Pena. Giovanni Pena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Giovanni Pena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicu Vornicu's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. FC Acatar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.S. United Buzau for a fine match.
