Daniel Moron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Dembkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 42nd minute of the game Gabriel Horea made a throw-in which Eugen Moisil played forward. In the 47th minute Ştefan Sticlaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Moron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shi Li was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Horea hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Shi Li's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
