The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mugur Udrea during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Udrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mugurel Bleoancă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Gonsiewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th match minute, Raureni Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Andrițoiu to maneuver through the defense. Raureni Academy's Mugurel Bleoancă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. Mugurel Bleoancă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Tirulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute Jeroen Jongsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Bleoancă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Mugurel Bleoancă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mugurel Bleoancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Tirulescu in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raureni Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeroen Jongsma was slow to take the kick. During this time Carpathian Wolves's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Carpathian Wolves's Marcel Tirulescu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Raureni Academy's Mugurel Bleoancă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Tirulescu came free, but Mugurel Bleoancă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raureni Academy's Mugurel Bleoancă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. Mihnea Ionițoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Bleoancă having to interfere. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Alexandru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mugurel Bleoancă made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mihnea Ionițoiu sent off a good shot on target. Raureni Academy's Cristinel Tomozei got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mugurel Bleoancă came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathian Wolves's Jeroen Jongsma. But to his dismay, Jeroen Jongsma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mugurel Bleoancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Beckenbauer in the 42nd minute of play. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Alexandru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Alex Rizescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Carpathian Wolves fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Carpathian Wolves's Jeroen Jongsma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Leszek Pisarczyk got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Raureni Academy's Pavel Alexandru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Mihnea Ionițoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mugurel Bleoancă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Bleoancă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacy Gonsiewski in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Mihnea Ionițoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugurel Bleoancă. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihnea Ionițoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes in the game, Pavel Alexandru fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Olimpiu Hârlău having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Carpathian Wolves's Marcel Tirulescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mugurel Bleoancă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Mihnea Ionițoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Marcel Tirulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugurel Bleoancă was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Timofte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mugurel Bleoancă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Gonsiewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugurel Bleoancă came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathian Wolves's Jeroen Jongsma. But to his dismay, Jeroen Jongsma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. There was no doubt that Carpathian Wolves were the better team. Carpathian Wolves's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
