Café DE PLOEG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi FC the free kick. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龚康松 in the 16th minute of play. Tomas Wiechgers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Dauwen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Leo Dauwen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd match minute, Bacardi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Kloots came free, but Leo Dauwen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龚康松 in the 25th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Café DE PLOEG's zone, Pieter-Jan Anteunis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carel Van de Schrieck came out of the goal and Pieter-Jan Anteunis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Dauwen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚康松 in the 29th minute of play. Leo Dauwen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龚康松 in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Wiechgers got free with Leo Dauwen in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龚康松 in the 41st minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carel Van de Schrieck had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Roni Coryn's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roni Coryn made a kick off. Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Coryn, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Roni Coryn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Carel Van de Schrieck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carel Van de Schrieck made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Torsten Åkesson sent off a good shot on target. Falko Schlender's late challenge caught a Café DE PLOEG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falko Schlender helped the player get up and apologised. Falko Schlender kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Café DE PLOEG got a corner. Bacardi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludwig Kloots ran over to the corner to take the kick. Café DE PLOEG's Ludwig Kloots was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leo Dauwen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leo Dauwen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Wiechgers in the 86th minute of play. Leo Dauwen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Wiechgers's shot from short distance in the 86th minute.
