Carl Caniggia succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Anders Holmgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Plăcintă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Holmgren ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Grubb in the 20th minute of play forced Band Of Brothers's goalkeeper Hami Tuna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's Robin Mager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hami Tuna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hami Tuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Bora Bora's corner Egil Ekström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hami Tuna quite easily take care of the ball. Herman Kleen might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Plăcintă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herman Kleen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Anders Holmgren made a precise shot to the right of Mihnea Plăcintă. Mihnea Plăcintă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Sugoi in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Band Of Brothers were the better team. Band Of Brothers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
