Sven-Edvin Mårtensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Skarkman went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joar Bergfeldt in the 5 minute of the game. In the 7thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petter Skarkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Petter Skarkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Protegéerna were awarded a corner. Michael Näver went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Protegéerna's corner Petter Skarkman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven-Edvin Mårtensson quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Persson came free, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cosme Demesio hit a great ball. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Skarkman went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petter Skarkman in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Edvin Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petter Skarkman scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Edvin Mårtensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 41st minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Persson took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The Protegéerna fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Protegéerna were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Petter Skarkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a huge save. 57 minutes in the game Joar Bergfeldt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tony Strandberg. The supporters of Team Rocco booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Skarkman in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saved Team Rocco from getting behind. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Petter Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. Protegéerna's Christer Nyberg was substituted for Jan Persson. Protegéerna made a substitution. Jonny Ånger replaced Yasen Súlov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Samuelsson in the 71st minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Petter Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Edvin Mårtensson, 0-9. Protegéerna's Bo Låsberg was substituted for Fernando Arango. Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ralf Vase in the 84 minute of the game. Petter Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petter Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Skarkman got free with Sven-Edvin Mårtensson in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petter Skarkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a huge save. In the 93rd match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Skarkman to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Protegéerna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
