An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Åberg in the 4th minute of play forced HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Irman Roos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Vilgot Åberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irman Roos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Åshöjdens BK's goalkeeper Johnny Svensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Hegg. HEJA ESLÖV's Thor Åkesson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cauã de Medeiros in the 11 minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Skager came free, but Irman Roos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Alrot kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Irman Roos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Åberg in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Fred Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irman Roos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hippolyte Calmettes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Irman Roos was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Åshöjdens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Hegg came free, but Johnny Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Åshöjdens BK got a freekick which was hit by Egil Tönnberg. Joachim Hegg might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johnny Svensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Hegg ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Varga came free, but Irman Roos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irman Roos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hippolyte Calmettes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Åshöjdens BK's zone, Joachim Hegg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Svensson came out of the goal and Joachim Hegg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joachim Hegg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Mathias Alrot put in a rough tackle. In the 50th minute, one of HEJA ESLÖV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HEJA ESLÖV. The supporters of Åshöjdens BK booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. eAntonio Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irman Roos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ximenes Varga. Hippolyte Calmettes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Irman Roos made a huge save. Joachim Hegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Johnny Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Åberg in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Irman Roos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 67th minute, Roger Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irman Roos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Skager, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by HEJA ESLÖV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egil Tönnberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Åshöjdens BK's players had a chance to rest. Åshöjdens BK's Egil Tönnberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Irman Roos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 73rd match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Hegg to maneuver through the defense. Irman Roos made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Hippolyte Calmettes sent off a good shot on target. Thor Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Svensson having to interfere. Joachim Hegg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by HEJA ESLÖV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egil Tönnberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Åshöjdens BK's players had a chance to rest. 90 minutes into the game, Vilgot Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åshöjdens BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HEJA ESLÖV the free kick. The supporters of HEJA ESLÖV booed when Åshöjdens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irman Roos was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Hippolyte Calmettes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hippolyte Calmettes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Hippolyte Calmettes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Irman Roos. That made the score 0-5 in the 97 minute of play. Åshöjdens BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
