In the 5th minute Emilian Bâlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Vallengren made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Arman Björklund sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arnoldo Martxel hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Blåvitt defense, Andrézinho Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Bredberg. The FC Blåvitt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Bredberg should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Blåvitt's Gil Talavera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Vallengren. That made the score 2-1 after 25 minutes of play. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Lundkvist in the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrézinho Dracena to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrézinho Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Bâlea in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Vallengren saved DFP from getting behind. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Dracena in the 60th minute of the match. Joel Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Bâlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Bâlea in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Arman Björklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Blåvitt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DFP the free kick. In the 88th match minute, FC Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Björklund to maneuver through the defense.
