After having played for 3 minutes, Jonathan Burman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skyborn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Burman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Andréas Fastesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Burman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pontus Sellberg having to make a save. Pontus Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Burman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Olof Sjöström hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Full Fart Framåt's Pontus Sellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Burman in the 14th minute of play. Skyborn FC's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pierre Barda in the 16th minute of play. Jonathan Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pontus Sellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Burman in the 32nd minute of the match. When Jonathan Burman came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Skyborn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Burman couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute of the match, Kim Henriksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomas Ravelli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Full Fart Framåt booed when Skyborn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Pierre Barda was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Henriksson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Ravelli saved Skyborn FC from getting behind. Jonathan Burman might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pontus Sellberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Burman ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Per-Olof Sjöström in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skyborn FC's Ogün Sarıoğlu. Jonathan Burman might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pontus Sellberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Burman ran back to his position shaking his head. Pontus Sellberg made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jonathan Burman sent off a good shot on target. Pontus Sellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Burman in the 68th minute of play. If Benedicto Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Full Fart Framåt made a substitution. Derek Cooke replaced Derick Murry. Jonathan Burman came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pontus Sellberg could save by the left post. Full Fart Framåt's Joachim Landin was substituted for Christer Bolin. After 84 minutes, Derek Cooke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Full Fart Framåt and the Skyborn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Full Fart Framåt got a freekick which was hit by Derek Cooke. Pontus Sellberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Burman in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Full Fart Framåt's Pontus Sellberg got control of the ball when Jonathan Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pontus Sellberg made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Jonathan Burman sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Bertil Jansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pontus Sellberg. Bertil Jansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skyborn FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
