The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Övertorneå RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Trulsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Övertorneå RK's Christer Ahlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Övertorneå RK from getting a goal against them. Sundborn IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vilhelm Trulsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaloyan Mitashev to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sundborn IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Övertorneå RK's performance. The match ended with a win for Övertorneå RK.
