In the 7th match minute, Fågelmara IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Bartlett to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Åke Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Käcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Käcker came free, but Jan-Åke Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nils Majman. Kjell Ennegren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Browall's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Jan-Åke Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Jonsson in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Åhus Absolut F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Browall to maneuver through the defense. Nils Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fågelmara IK's Nils Jonsson in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åhus Absolut F.C's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakob Browall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Nils Majman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jan-Åke Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Bartlett in the 59th minute of play. Jan-Åke Juhlin was a little too slow when Ionel Bălăiță got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-1. Jan-Åke Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Jonsson in the 65th minute of play. Thomas Bartlett who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Jan-Åke Juhlin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lennart Käcker kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Thomas Bartlett put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Åke Juhlin. Fågelmara IK's Peter Lundström was substituted for Johan Björling. The supporters of Fågelmara IK booed when Åhus Absolut F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Petit didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Bartlett came free, but Jan-Åke Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ström came free, but Kjell Ennegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
