The crowd rose to their feet as HISPANO FC's Jefferson Otero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santos Santio. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chard United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Lee Cuevas struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Orestis Karnezis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chard United. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Cuevas in the 60th minute of play forced HISPANO FC's goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Otero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Santio having to make a save. A collision led to Chard United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Norbert Swift hit a great ball. If Migúel Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. When Wilmer Davison fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HISPANO FC's protests and gave Wilmer Davison a yellow card for diving instead. Norbert Swift took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orestis Karnezis. HISPANO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. HISPANO FC had won after a very even match.
