Nomads Football Club's Teofilo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Silva in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Dennon in the 26th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Dennon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Tony Pacheco ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Teofilo Amato made a huge save. Gerry Herring's late challenge caught a New England Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerry Herring helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Nomads Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Herring. 54 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Amato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Nomads Football Club's goalkeeper Teofilo Amato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Silva. The nice shot from Edgardo Silva in the 56thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Teofilo Amato had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 57th minute, Edgardo Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teofilo Amato. The goal made the score 1-3. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Dennon in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nomads Football Club's zone, Edgardo Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Amato came out of the goal and Edgardo Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. New England Minas's Jörgen Frohm was substituted for Conny Tingberg. New England Minas made a substitution. Emmitt Benson replaced Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Edgardo Silva. New England Minas's attentive Roman Major managed to snatch the ball when Gerry Herring made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. In the 75th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Jörgen Frohm went to the cornerflag to take it. Nomads Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Tio Lio scored to the left of an out of position Teofilo Amato, making the score, 2-4. Nomads Football Club made a substitution. Johannes Söderkvist replaced Claudio Quiroga. Teofilo Amato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tio Lio in the 81st minute. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Justens in the 83rd minute of play. New England Minas's Roman Major managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gerry Herring in the 84 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Nomads Football Club's zone, Tio Lio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Amato came out of the goal and Tio Lio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nomads Football Club's goalkeeper Teofilo Amato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Nomads Football Club booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Emenon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nomads Football Club's Holger Dennon got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Nomads Football Club getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Denver Lund hit a great ball. Gerry Herring hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Tio Lio could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Teofilo Amato however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New England Minas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
