Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Ţopescu started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Dan Gheară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyron Velasquez. When Tommy Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Soccer Club's protests and gave Tommy Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. Tyron Velasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dan Gheară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Dan Gheară managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Santos FC's Tyron Velasquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tyron Velasquez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Dan Gheară skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyron Velasquez got free with Dan Gheară in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes Cosmos Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominic Albright who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Santos FC's Dominic Albright to fire away a dangerous shot which Dan Gheară despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 29th minute, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dan Gheară. Dan Gheară yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Lanny Gilmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Gheară having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Tyron Velasquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Gheară stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lanny Gilmore's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Tyron Velasquez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Dan Gheară skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 42 minutes into the game, Tommy Salgado threw the ball into play from the sideline. Santos FC's Tory Weeks quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dan Gheară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 45th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Dan Gheară successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyron Velasquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Gheară came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore. But to his dismay, Lanny Gilmore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Soccer Club's zone, Lanny Gilmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Gheară came out of the goal and Lanny Gilmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Aaron Smallwood made a huge save. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lanny Gilmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Gheară stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tyron Velasquez's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Tyron Velasquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Gheară. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tyron Velasquez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyron Velasquez in the 67th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Aaron Smallwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Ţopescu in the 73rd minute of play. Tommy Salgado made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santos FC's Tory Weeks. Dan Gheară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lanny Gilmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Dan Gheară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terence Nicholas in the 88th minute of play. Dan Gheară didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Albright went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terence Nicholas in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Gheară prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dan Gheară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lanny Gilmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
