The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodolfo Lencastre kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Radul Tishev came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radul Tishev couldn't finish the play. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Sendoa in the 9th minute of play. Rui Patrício stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Lencastre's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Rui Patrício made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Duarte in the 22nd minute of play. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aquiles Duarte in the 23rd minute. Rodolfo Lencastre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rui Patrício made a huge save. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Alumiara SD's Rui Patrício proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Alumiara SD from getting a goal against them. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when FC Alumiara SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Lanczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Rui Patrício threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Golo Duarte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Alumiara SD's Rui Patrício played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Duarte in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Paião to make the kick off. Rui Patrício made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Duarte in the 55th minute of play. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 58th minute of play forced FC Alumiara SD's goalkeeper Rui Patrício to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Paião in the 66th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radul Tishev scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Patrício, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rui Patrício showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radul Tishev in the 76th minute of the match. Rui Patrício made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Lencastre in the 77th minute of play. Vitko Patrashkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Duarte Duarte made a huge save. Mario Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
