Sepp Mainville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan Giacomozzi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Tassilo Kost came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Rägi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tassilo Kost couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's Jonas Herz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Busuioc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Jan Giacomozzi in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Rägi's Tobie Ostermann. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Gwidon Kosiorek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Busuioc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Herz in the 39th minute of the match. FC Rägi's Calistrat Busuioc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herz in the 40th minute of play. FC Rägi's Jürgen Leu was substituted for Amador Cresenciano. FC Rägi made a substitution. Fremont Schneider replaced Tobie Ostermann. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwidon Kosiorek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Kosiorek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Sepp Mainville skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Herz in the 57th minute of play forced FC Rägi's goalkeeper Calistrat Busuioc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albain Furst made a great header on Zelg FC's corner, it was just that FC Rägi's Calistrat Busuioc managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irwin Monney in the 64th minute of play forced FC Rägi's goalkeeper Calistrat Busuioc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Fremont Schneider got a free kick in the 66th minute. Calistrat Busuioc came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zelg FC's Gilles Clerc. But to his dismay, Gilles Clerc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Calistrat Busuioc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Calistrat Busuioc came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Zelg FC's Jonas Herz. But to his dismay, Jonas Herz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Jürgen Leu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
