After 8 minutes of play, ☯ⓀⒾⓉⓈⓊⓃⒺ™☯'s Raúl Ceresso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chauncey Holland was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter 1908 Milan's goalkeeper Chauncey Holland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raúl Ceresso scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chauncey Holland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by ☯ⓀⒾⓉⓈⓊⓃⒺ™☯'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carrol Sparks was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter 1908 Milan's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Inter 1908 Milan's corner Carrol Sparks fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luo Zhi Feng quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Inter 1908 Milan defense, Raúl Ceresso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chauncey Holland. The Inter 1908 Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chauncey Holland should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ☯ⓀⒾⓉⓈⓊⓃⒺ™☯ booed when Inter 1908 Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Beckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Victor Dunn fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter 1908 Milan's protests and gave Victor Dunn a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Dunn hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Chauncey Holland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl Ceresso went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Inter 1908 Milan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ☯ⓀⒾⓉⓈⓊⓃⒺ™☯ were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Beckman made a kick off. Raúl Ceresso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chauncey Holland came out and tried to block the shot, but Raúl Ceresso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Inter 1908 Milan's zone, Raúl Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chauncey Holland came out of the goal and Raúl Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 played minutes Inter 1908 Milan got a freekick which was hit by Neal Tuttle. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter 1908 Milan's goalkeeper Chauncey Holland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Inter 1908 Milan getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Neal Tuttle hit a great ball. Luo Zhi Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Welsh in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Raúl Ceresso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chauncey Holland. Raúl Ceresso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter 1908 Milan's goalkeeper Chauncey Holland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chauncey Holland was a little too slow when Raúl Ceresso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-9. Raúl Ceresso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chauncey Holland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Ceresso in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chauncey Holland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raúl Ceresso spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Inter 1908 Milan's goal. If Raúl Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chauncey Holland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Ceresso in the 94th minute. The ☯ⓀⒾⓉⓈⓊⓃⒺ™☯ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ☯ⓀⒾⓉⓈⓊⓃⒺ™☯ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
