In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limus Nunggal's goalkeeper Mandra Suherman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mandra Suherman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Tylenda in the 8th minute of play. Gustaw Tylenda took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mandra Suherman. Mandra Suherman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Panji Kalengkongan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Egil Kilberg made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Zidan Lunggana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's Aristide Mirciulescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Limus Nunggal's zone, Gustaw Tylenda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mandra Suherman came out of the goal and Gustaw Tylenda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Egil Kilberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tantan Sundoro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadhly Haryanto-Ie in the 25th minute of play forced Limus Nunggal's goalkeeper Mandra Suherman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mandra Suherman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Tylenda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldas Maziliauskas made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gustaw Tylenda immediately put the ball in play. Egil Kilberg made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Tantan Sundoro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Tylenda in the 45th minute of play forced Limus Nunggal's goalkeeper Mandra Suherman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaw Tylenda to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Kadek Suhastra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limus Nunggal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Original Sabahan the free kick. A collision led to Limus Nunggal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mandra Suherman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Tylenda in the 58th minute of the match. Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tantan Sundoro in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Limus Nunggal getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Asep Gustomi hit a great ball. Original Sabahan made a substitution. Yahya Kılıçaslan replaced Gustaw Tylenda. Egil Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endi Harmoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Limus Nunggal's Mandra Suherman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Kılıçaslan in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Fadhly Haryanto-Ie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mandra Suherman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Original Sabahan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
