Club Atletico Huaco's Lázaro Lucado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Huaco from getting a goal against them. Carolo Remir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciriaco Urki went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Yoan Miloshev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Carolo Remir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Urki. In the 60th minute, Yoan Miloshev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Åkesson in the 78th minute of play forced Club Atletico Huaco's goalkeeper Lázaro Lucado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hilario Platon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Club Atletico Huaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Platon couldn't finish the play. Eskil Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Perez came free, but Carolo Remir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Huaco defense, Eskil Åkesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Lucado. The Club Atletico Huaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Lucado should have stopped the shot.
