An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Maia in the 4th minute of play forced Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Atila Edu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Mauro Llorian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Riquelme Fútbol Club's Atila Edu did a great save. Genaro Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Queiroz made a huge save. After some careless play in the ALEXANDRIA defense, Augusto Oalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Queiroz. The ALEXANDRIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Augusto Queiroz should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes ALEXANDRIA got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Maia. Gabin Doare lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of ALEXANDRIA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riquelme Fútbol Club:s goal. The goalkeeper, Carlos Augusto Queiroz, was totally fooled by Riquelme Fútbol Club's Severo Urbes, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Llorian got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Atila Edu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Urbes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Augusto Queiroz. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. If Hugo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severo Urbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Queiroz made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Itzaina to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Atila Edu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Oalo in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Oalo in the 62nd minute of play forced ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ALEXANDRIA made a substitution. Zeledon Salvino replaced Marciano Rocio. ALEXANDRIA's Enrique Ilazki was substituted for Hugo Maia. ALEXANDRIA made a substitution. Frits Pandiangan replaced Franco Orozco. Atila Edu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Itzaina in the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geoffrey Verhelst got free with Atila Edu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Augusto Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Oalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Genaro Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALEXANDRIA's Carlos Augusto Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Suarez in the 89th minute of play. Atila Edu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ilazki in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Itzaina in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atila Edu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the ALEXANDRIA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Riquelme Fútbol Club.
