A collision led to Deportivo David Mardel getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Isaac Vito hit a great ball. Ludomir Zawacki's late challenge caught a El Bobo y El Bocho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomir Zawacki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Ludomir Zawacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Astor Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gogo Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Astor Tohias notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo David Mardel's Gogo Leguizamón. Gogo Leguizamón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gogo Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Stephen in the 44th minute of play. After the first half El Bobo y El Bocho were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Deportivo David Mardel's Gogo Leguizamón got control of the ball when Astor Tohias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astor Tohias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gogo Leguizamón made a huge save.
