Mateo Claus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateo Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Benicio Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bauti FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abelardo Gombal hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Burni made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Bauti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Marin to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Rivas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Mateo Claus made a huge save. Mateo Claus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Naike got free with Mateo Claus in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Naike blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Claus having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Bauti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roland came free, but Mateo Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Nicolas Roland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Claus. Nicolas Roland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Vélez Juniors played a much better game than Bauti FC and deserved their victory. The Bauti FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
