Bayan Gugovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Birila's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ezequiel Azeari. That made the score 1-3 after 22 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 29th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Urtsin got free with Ezequiel Azeari in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30thth minute of the game Aquiles Urtsin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papillon AC's Ezequiel Azeari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Benjamim Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Azeari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Roland. Fabian Caitano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 38th minute of the match. Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Johans in the 39th minute of the match. If Sergio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Papillon AC defense, Ediberto Sampaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Azeari. The Papillon AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Azeari should have stopped the shot. Papillon AC's Ezequiel Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 54th minute of play. Ezequiel Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Núñez in the 60th minute of play. Merengue FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ediberto Sampaio in the 62nd minute. The corner led Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio to fire away a dangerous shot which Ezequiel Azeari despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute, Darwin Núñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Birila in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Maxi Nuñez hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Gustavo Birila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bayan Gugovski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Darwin Núñez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th play minute Godfredo Rey came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bayan Gugovski. 3-4.
