The audience held their breath when Ediberto Sampaio in the 10th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Enrique Sedeni's left hand side. 12 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Darwin Núñez came free, but Enrique Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 14th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Enrique Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Sedeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Benjamim Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamim Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Barral in the 24th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31st minute of the match, Thomás Barral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bayan Gugovski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gaudencio Jerrald hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomás Barral. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Ismael Frances got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomás Barral in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayan Gugovski saved Merengue FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Ediberto Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Dionisio Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Urtsin made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Thomás Barral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rejunte de perros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Barral in the 55th minute of play. The long shot by Albino Dimas in the 56th minute really tested Enrique Sedeni's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rejunte de perros's zone, Benjamim Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Sedeni came out of the goal and Benjamim Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Thomás Barral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Rejunte de perros defense, Darwin Núñez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Sedeni. The Rejunte de perros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Sedeni should have stopped the shot. Aquiles Urtsin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Enrique Sedeni made a huge save. After 86 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Rezende. In the 88th minute of the match, Ediberto Sampaio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Sedeni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Ediberto Sampaio could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Enrique Sedeni however easily saved by the left post. Bayan Gugovski came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rejunte de perros's Igor Pio. But to his dismay, Igor Pio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
