The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Constantino Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Ekhi in the 6th minute. Jonas Santiago succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 11th match minute, El Lobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Dytrych hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Amadeo Coleira charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Coleira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roman Barros, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Ekhi got free with Constantino Paublo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Ekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Constantino Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoni Dytrych recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Tiburcio Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo got control of the ball when Ceferino Ekhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Ekhi in the 28th minute. Constantino Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Dytrych, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Antoni Dytrych might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Paublo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Constantino Paublo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Berdaitz in the 40th minute. Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Santiago in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Santiago came free, but Constantino Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Santiago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jonas Santiago made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Paublo. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When El Lobo's Ceferino Ekhi in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candelaria FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Jonas Santiago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Dytrych in the 57th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Constantino Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelaria FC's Donato Elazar was substituted for Moises Vargas. Constantino Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Ekhi in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for El Lobo. Jonas Santiago stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Constantino Paublo. 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Jonas Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Paublo came out of the goal and Jonas Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Roman Barros hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ceferino Ekhi notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo. Constantino Paublo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Ekhi in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Paublo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Ceferino Ekhi notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Candelaria FC's Constantino Paublo. Constantino Paublo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Ceferino Ekhi made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Paublo. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Lobo had played much better football throughout.
