In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Monky FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martín Ferreyra took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Martín Ferreyra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Tajo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With 7 minutes on the clock, Romeo Ospin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monky FC! In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT. Marcelo Cordero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Tajo. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Wennersten in the 23rd minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Tajo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Andre Vanhove sent off a good shot on target. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Musko in the 27th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Monky FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andre Vanhove fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Wennersten came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Cordero took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Tajo. Felipe Tajo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Marcelo Cordero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Tajo having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Tajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Barbey.

In the 55th minute Marcelo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Guillelmo. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Marcelo Cordero put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Tajo. Marcelo Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Tajo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Cordero in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Tajo saved Monky FC from getting behind. If Andre Vanhove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Tajo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Haroldo Alfonso. But to his dismay, Haroldo Alfonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Eliseo Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Denis Sein hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Felipe Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Ferreyra in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Monky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Sein to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Haroldo Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Tajo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Wennersten got free with Dražen Ladić in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fisica UNT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Alfonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Vanhove in the 92nd minute of play forced Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
