Gilbert Maruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Pedro's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Arnoldo Pedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Maruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Palzewicz in the 17th minute of play forced KS Zryw Rybitwy's goalkeeper Petre Gherghescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksander Gejda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Maruda having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Pedro got free with Gilbert Maruda in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomitak Wrocław's Gilbert Maruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Pedro in the 22nd minute of play. Arnoldo Pedro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tomitak Wrocław's Gilbert Maruda got control of the ball when Arnoldo Pedro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tomitak Wrocław's Mikolaj Filanowski in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aleksander Gejda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tomitak Wrocław's goalkeeper Gilbert Maruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Filanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petre Gherghescu. KS Zryw Rybitwy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikolaj Filanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Petre Gherghescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Palzewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tanek Gorzkiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tanek Gorzkiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tanek Gorzkiewicz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radowit Palzewicz to make the kick off.
