In the 16th minute Reşat Rasif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Duszenski in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Mariusz Zgonina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dudu Freitas. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dudu Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half.
