The crowd rose to their feet as Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cenk Senih. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Felix Fanøe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cenk Senih read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Felix Fanøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Cenk Senih made a huge save. Janich Sodborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Baumer in the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Felix Fanøe from a close distance when the talented Cenk Senih managed to make a qualified save. FC GILSAA's players were relieved. After some careless play in the FC GILSAA defense, Felix Fanøe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cenk Senih. The FC GILSAA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cenk Senih should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Eliasen in the 66th minute of play forced FC GILSAA's goalkeeper Cenk Senih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cenk Senih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Fanøe in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Strib Galacticos IF got a corner. FC GILSAA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Berbiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Fanøe made a great header on Strib Galacticos IF's corner, it was just that FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih managed to reach the ball for a save. Cenk Senih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Fanøe's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. FC GILSAA made a substitution. Laus Panting replaced Hagbart Mølsgaard. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Berbiz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cenk Senih quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 93 minutes into the match, Felix Fanøe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cenk Senih. FC GILSAA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Fanøe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. FC GILSAA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
