An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarūnas Kuliešius in the 22nd minute of play forced FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's goalkeeper Big Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Alytus United's Edvīns van der Sar got control of the ball when Zeki İncel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Ernesto Tauro got a free kick in the 32nd minute.
