In the 24th minute Joe Herring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dursun Soysal got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arūnas Pukelis. In the 63rd minute, Guillermo Farré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes, FK Mintis Vilnius's Aldas Galkus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerry Lodge came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Mintis Vilnius reached it. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Quentin Nethercot got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Quentin Nethercot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Joe Herring. After 75 played minutes FK Mintis Vilnius got a freekick which was hit by Kęstutis Latoža. The crowd rose to their feet as Joe Herring kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliver Can. That made the score 1-1 in the 78 minute of play. Jerry Lodge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldas Galkus's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Danilevičius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerry Lodge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Tomas Danilevičius sped through Valencia C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerry Lodge. 89 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hubertas Dabkevičius came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Lodge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Danilevičius made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Lodge. Valencia C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Joe Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Herring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Can breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
