The supporters of Mübariz Team booed when FK Mintis Vilnius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldas Galkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şair Baloğlanov got free with Oliver Can in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th match minute, FK Mintis Vilnius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldas Galkus to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Can made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şair Baloğlanov in the 28th minute of play. Mänsur Rzayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldas Galkus in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Aldas Galkus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mänsur Rzayev. Mübariz Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldas Galkus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, FK Mintis Vilnius's Oliver Can got control of the ball when Şair Baloğlanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. FK Mintis Vilnius's Oliver Can proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save FK Mintis Vilnius from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute FK Mintis Vilnius were awarded a corner. Aldas Galkus went to the cornerflag to take it. Şair Baloğlanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Oliver Can made a huge save. Şair Baloğlanov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Sädräddin Cavadov threw the ball into play from the sideline. FK Mintis Vilnius's Leandro Grimi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Danilevičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Mübariz Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. FK Mintis Vilnius's Kęstutis Latoža quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Habil Rzayev, made in the 60th minute of the game. Mänsur Rzayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Danilevičius in the 61st minute of play. FK Mintis Vilnius's Oliver Can played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şair Baloğlanov in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, FK Mintis Vilnius's Tomas Danilevičius made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chants of FK Mintis Vilnius echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mübariz Team had held the ball for most of the match.
