When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when C.J. La Marca made the kick off in the second half. George Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Puchlik having to interfere. Coronel Montaña hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Coronel Montaña came free in the 57th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jano França, but to the joy of UE Cornella's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Charles Puyol made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Geronimo Jofre. After 95 played minutes UE Cornella got a freekick which was hit by George Echavarri.
