He was immediately shown a red card. 13 minutes into the game, one of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ:s Michel Čech showed great skill when he stopped Álvaro Godoi:s penalty. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Michel Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafran Chien-Kwan in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Roberto-Carlos Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Jeremias Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Anderson Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Andrade in the 31st minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Michel Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catadão's Jardel Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Catadão from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Anderson Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Jardel Reis. Catadão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Michel Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Yun Lei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anderson Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo do Vale made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Chu Yun Lei immediately put the ball in play. Jardel Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahl Gattuso in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chu Yun Lei in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Čech saved ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Michel Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Andrade. Michel Čech was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chu Yun Lei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 59 minute of play. Catadão's Hernani Pires was substituted for Kléberson Xavier. In the 64th minute Deivid de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto-Carlos Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto-Carlos Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Catadão booed when ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto-Carlos Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catadão's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ had won, even though Catadão had held more of the ball.
