Cássio Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aral Sümre hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Măcrinici got free with Cássio Pimenta in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute of the match, Ladislao Gerazan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cássio Pimenta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 16 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Măcrinici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cássio Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute Baltazar Chaves suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Edu Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Iguaçu MZFC's protests and gave Edu Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Luís Toledo was substituted for Baltazar Chaves. Vivaldo Cavalcante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mickaël Maris. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cássio Pimenta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Gerazan went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Horaţiu Măcrinici sped through Pousada 2 Pedros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cássio Pimenta. If Horaţiu Măcrinici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Cássio Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Măcrinici notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Cássio Pimenta. Cássio Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 68th play minutes Horaţiu Măcrinici shot 11-0, a short shot which went by Cássio Pimenta and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gerazan in the 71st minute of play forced Pousada 2 Pedros FC's goalkeeper Cássio Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute of the match Renato Bezerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio Pimenta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Horaţiu Măcrinici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0.
