After 4th play minutes Richard Hefter shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Adam Doykin and just under the crossbar into goal. Adam Doykin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from You Wei Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Adam Doykin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of You Wei Xing's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when You Wei Xing came free, but Adam Doykin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Rossi in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adam Doykin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Hefter in the 18th minute. Adam Doykin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Hefter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th play minute Luisão Negri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adam Doykin. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Cláudio Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Donato in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Bass Dost made a precise shot to the right of Adam Doykin. CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. If Bass Dost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Bass Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Doykin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Doykin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Pernambucano in the 83rd minute of play.
