Benê Recife scored 0-2 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Falcão Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gol Legal FC's Diego Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Gol Legal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 17th match minute, FC Gustavo FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Slater to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rhett Chevrette got free with Diego Alves in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Steven Slater ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Mané Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Recife in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gol Legal FC's zone, Júlio Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Alves came out of the goal and Júlio Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Gustavo FPRMZ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Damazy Jarosz hit a great ball. Mané Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Gustavo FPRMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time Gol Legal FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Gol Legal FC's Cristian de Queirós getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Gol Legal FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jannis Van Hove hit a great ball. Mané Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Matorin in the 40th minute of the match. Steven Slater could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Diego Alves made a huge save. Diego Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Slater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Rhett Chevrette left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gustavo FPRMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Diego Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhett Chevrette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Slater in the 60th minute of play forced Gol Legal FC's goalkeeper Diego Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhett Chevrette, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Gol Legal FC's Falcão Matorin got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Gol Legal FC's Alexis Lalas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexis Lalas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gol Legal FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexis Lalas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gol Legal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Diego Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Munhoz in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Gol Legal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Saraiva came free, but Diego Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Benê Recife fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gol Legal FC's protests and gave Benê Recife a yellow card for diving instead. Gol Legal FC's Betinho Gerber was substituted for Falcão Matorin. Gol Legal FC's Pedro Augusto Capixaba was substituted for Jannis Van Hove. In the 88th minute, Júlio Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 93rd minute, Antoni Borkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gol Legal FC's Antoni Borkowski got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Cristi Popovici fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gustavo FPRMZ's protests and gave Cristi Popovici a yellow card for diving instead. After 99 played minutes FC Gustavo FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Popovici. Benê Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Mané Moreno made a huge save. After 102 minutes FC Gustavo FPRMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Allan Prestes who took care of the corner kick.
