Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin da Fonseca started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nova Venécia-ES's Huang Peng Ning got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Mauro Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Nova Venécia-ES's Mauro Barreto got control of the ball when Can Sadov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Barreto came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Benjamin da Fonseca scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Nascimento in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Mauro Barreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Mauro Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Huang Peng Ning hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jeremias Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Lendaa in the 41st minute of play. Ronny Ottens lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 41st minute, one of Pesqueira City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pesqueira City. The referee gave Nova Venécia-ES a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Davi Lendaa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Davi Lendaa made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Nascimento in the 51st minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Jeremias Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Huang Peng Ning. 58 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 59 minutes Nova Venécia-ES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Can Sadov who took care of the corner kick. Mauro Barreto came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Thomas Cochrane. But to his dismay, Thomas Cochrane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Jeremias Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Benjamin da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Barreto having to interfere. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Doriva Zanette replaced Can Sadov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Recife in the 72nd minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Jeremias Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Jeremias Orland successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute Benjamin da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Mauro Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Borges in the 86th minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Mauro Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nova Venécia-ES's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
