When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Caniggia made a kick off. Nurkan Salah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Gaspar having to interfere. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Ospin in the 80th minute of play.
