Iker Casillas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Han Shi Fan. Fortunato Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otang Irawan in the 9th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Ove Bergman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Gordiani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus F.C. the free kick. Iker Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Petricca, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Petricca in the 33rd minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dino Petricca might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Casillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juventus F.C. made a substitution. Maximo Urritz replaced Cristian Menendo. In the 85th minute, Dino Petricca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iker Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro dos Santos in the 87th minute of play. Iker Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Urritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Cristoforo Flocco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Urritz came free, but Iker Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villa Gordiani players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventus F.C..
