After 15 minutes Velester Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugo Boss who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Enzo Delle Donne heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Daniele Massaro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Seggiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Massaro couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Velester Football Club's goalkeeper Ferdinando Scarinci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniele Massaro. Andrea Moschetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Mantini in the 29th minute of the match. Velester Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Gliga in the 30th minute. After 35 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Falone. In the 35th minute of the match Emanuel Gliga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrea Moschetta skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Velester Football Club booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godo Møltoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Scarinci made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Daniele Massaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 42ndth minute of the game Daniele Massaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Seggiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Moschetta should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Velester Football Club's zone, Daniele Massaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Scarinci came out of the goal and Daniele Massaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amerigo Falone made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hugo Boss immediately put the ball in play. 69 minutes into the match, Enzo Delle Donne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinando Scarinci. Velester Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Delle Donne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 73 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Velicu came free, but Andrea Moschetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Velester Football Club's Dumitru Velicu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrea Moschetta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Velester Football Club's Donato Gaeta was substituted for Concetto Mascitti. Dumitru Velicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Andrea Moschetta made a huge save. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Velester Football Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
