The excitement rose when Fiume Veneto's Eugenios Dokas after 25 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for SSC Special Eleven's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Termander came free, but Benji Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SSC Special Eleven's Damian Ştiopul got control of the ball when Cristoforo Volpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Dario Scafati in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fiume Veneto's Rico Taha. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristoforo Volpe to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Cristoforo Volpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristoforo Volpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Cristoforo Volpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, SSC Special Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Volpe came free, but Damian Ştiopul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Cristoforo Volpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fiume Veneto and the SSC Special Eleven players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Volpe. Dario Scafati made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sílvio Piola however managed to control. The SSC Special Eleven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Ştiopul should have stopped the shot. Fiume Veneto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
