Fiume Veneto's Benji Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Fiume Veneto from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Cristoforo Volpe made a precise shot to the right of Diego Zarrella. Farafulla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Diego Zarrella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Volpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Zarrella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristoforo Volpe's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Cristoforo Volpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Volpe in the 35th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Diego Zarrella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Cristoforo Volpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Zarrella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Fiume Veneto got a corner. Farafulla FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Farafulla FC's Diego Zarrella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Volpe in the 42nd minute of play. Diego Zarrella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Volpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Campos to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Cristiano Graziano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Zarrella, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Cristoforo Volpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Zarrella was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Diego Zarrella yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 85thth minute of the game Cristoforo Volpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farafulla FC's Diego Zarrella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Miguel Campos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benji Price was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After 95 minutes, Facundo Vaca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Farafulla FC and the Fiume Veneto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Farafulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Vaca to maneuver through the defense.
